I wish it was stated in the description how to measure for these. My window is 71" so taking others advice I ordered 70.5 to leave room for the hardware. The blinds themselves are 70" so they already took the hardware into account. I just wish they would've stated that in the description. Now there is about a 1/2" gap on either side which isn't horrible and not enough to return but still, it would be nice to fit the whole window! Bottom line: order the actual size of the window! I then remembered I forgot to order a 4th one. The Richfield blinds look like real wood. The Wayfair ones are going back~~look like plastic, feel like plastic. I would certainly not use them in a prominent room of a more elegant home. The faux wood finish is cheaply done and does not approach looking real. A lot of light shines in between the slats when they are closed- that is they do not close tightly especially towards the bottom. Two of the blinds arrived without the little boxes of hardware and I don't know what I am going to have to go through to get them. The head rails are smaller than standard size so if I have difficulty getting the company to send them (without returning the whole blinds) it will not be easy to find proper replacement hardware. The instructions for shortening the blinds are a bit "fuzzy" but I did manage to shorten one of them satisfactorily.

When I got them all the hardware was missing!! Thank goodness my local Walmart accommodated me,, otherwise I would have to return them and then reorder. I was so aggravated I probably wouldn't have reordered. Also we had to untangle the strings. I don't know if this was a return and they just sent it to me or what. They look very nice and have a neat design on them.

It took my husband about 10 minutes to hang them. They did sag in the middle. We took one of the silver brackets used when outside mount to reinforce the middle. He did have to cut the small brackets I the strings could fit. That took about 10 minutes to cut and remount. They look great but they should definitely have more brackets for heavier blinds.
