I was on a strict budget when I purchased this item, and it fit my budget. However the air flow out the side all but prevents the unit from pulling dust... This is my fourth purifier! These are quiet, efficient, and clear a room of smells in just a few hours! I had a guest for 3 months who wore too much perfume in the guest room. I love that you just vacuum out the filter and stick it back in! It really does help with the dog smell.I've been fostering a litter of 4 kittens, adorable but a lot for my litterbox to handle! When I received the two sample units they sent me, I couldn’t believe my eyes: they’re tiny!The CritterZone Air Purifier is only 4.5″ tall by 2.75″ wide by 1.75″ deep. The wall plug in unit protrudes about an inch from the wall in the back of the unit.  The cord that comes with the corded unit protrudes less than .5 inch.I have to admit, I was skeptical.
