Bichon Frise Puppies For Sale In Northern California

Here are furkids currently in foster care and ready to meet Forever Families. Since all of our pups are in loving foster homes, as we get to know their personalities and needs, we can then write their bios. If you do not see a story about a particular dog, that means he or she has just recently become a furkid. When we know more about those furkids, we will write their bios. Since our foster moms and dads have the ‘first right of adoption’, many times they decide to adopt the furkid they are fostering. Please also remember that with bichons, it is about chemistry, more than gender! More males are born, therefore, more come into rescue. There are probably as many dominant females as there are submissive males. Most males are not leg lifters (many still squat like females) and belly bands take care of that challenge quickly and easily. The bigger challenge we have is that many bichons need another bichon or other dog, as well as human companions. Most of our furkids cannot be ‘only children.’
When you read the bios you will see which dogs can live with only human companions. With Bichons, it is all about chemistry – chemistry with you, with other dogs and other breeds! Because we want all of our FurKids to become the best representatives of bichons that they can be, we have high standards for them. That includes working with trainers (while in foster care and after being adopted) and experiencing lots of socialization. Many FurKids go on to become service dogs, both emotional support and therapy dogs. It is important for our puppies to be able to emulate and learn from other dogs. As a result, we do not adopt puppies to homes where there is no other dog. We do, however, adopt two siblings from a litter together. All puppy adopters are asked to do training and socialization with their FurKids with the goal of helping them to be amazing little canine companions. Please check back for new bios, photos and furkid information! We update the web site several times each week.
We are Fabulous Fletcher and Frolicsome Flynn and we are quite the pair! Mom calls us the Dynamic Duo and we do our best to be all that – and more. I, Flynn, am the somewhat older brother, because I’m all of four years old and I’m a bit bigger (at a whopping 10 pounds.) Black Tan Coonhound Puppies Sale TexasFletcher is my ‘kid brother’…Sell Used Furniture Berkeley My name is Randy and I’m a remarkably resilient and respectful bichon — and a very loving little guy, too. Hoover Washer Dryer MotorYou see I came into rescue having been a ‘stud’. (Mom says that means I was so handsome and happy that someone called a breeder wanted to make lots of little bichons that were like me. And so she did.) My name is Cassidy and I’m a calm and social little guy who is big on charm but not on size, as I tip the scales at 14 pounds.
My foster Mom says I’m a very loving and gentle soul who is friendly (with people and small pups like me, please!), mellow and quiet. I’m also a pup who is happy to snuggle for all I’m worth (and that’s a lot!) My name is Sassy and my foster Mom says that I’m the cutest bichon ever. I’m a delicate and dainty girl weighing in at 11 ½ pounds and only five years old (or is that young?) I’m also quite the entertainer! I do this “twirly dance” on my hind legs when I want something which, according to both Mom and Dad, is completely adorable. I also love to be picked up and cuddled (isn’t that what laps are for?) anytime you are seated. My name is Sparkles which is an unusual name for me ’cause I’m an unusual little pup! I’m a butterscotch-colored Cavachon puppy about 9-10 months old who weighs 17 pounds. Mom says I brighten up any room I’m in just by being there (Gee, thanks Mom) and I work very hard to make her happy.
My name is Milo but you can call me Go With the Flow Milo. Now you might think that’s kind of funny but it really describes the kind of guy I am. Why, I’m the kind of pup who wants to do what you want to do, when you want to do it. That’s what my foster Mom calls ‘the flow.’ And I’m amazingly adaptable and adaptive, too. (I’m quite sure that’s a good thing to be ’cause Mom smiles when she says it!) My name is QT and I’m a darling little guy of about 3 or 4 who is (drumroll please) a real cutie. My foster mom says I’m just about the cutest kid on the block. I am the epitome of cuteness. That’s what she says. (Can you tell she kind of likes me?) I’m Casey and I’m a happy and handsome boy of two, weighing about 20 lbs and with quite a story to tell! In the story, our hero (that’s me) gets lost (and is hit by a car) then a good Samaritan drives by and rescues him. He is taken to a scary place called a shelter. But our hero is a very lucky guy and the nice people at Bichon FurKids decide to help our hero (yes, that’s me!) because he needs to recover from his injuries.
My name is Boomer and I am a darling curly havanese boy of three and a half years who does a masterful havanese wave and weighs about 20 pounds. My name is Benji and I’m kind of famous. I’m not bragging (‘cause that’s not the kind of guy I am) but you may have seen me on Facebook. You see my family no longer had time for me so they dropped me off at a shelter in LA. Well, believe you me, that was no place for a gentle, mellow and loving little guy like me. And a lot of special angels decided that was definitely the case. Meet Our Dogs in Foster Care In Southern California Meet Our Dogs in Foster Care In Northern California Meet Our Available PuppiesOur approach to breeding puppies begins with understanding the role that these dogs will play within the family unit of their future homes.  We hold on to a core set of family values that applies to all those within our household, including our Labrador Retrievers, BichonFrise, and Shichon dogs which are very much a part of our household.
The intrinsic maternal instinct that governs our decision process used for our children’s well-being is the same set of principles we use to raise our puppies and it is for this reason that we pay such strong attention to detail in raising these puppies. We understand that, as animals, they have the greatest chance for success when we apply intensive oversight from the point of conception on through being introduced to a new home.  We do our very best to provide proper nutrition, environmental stimulus, and social interaction that is most conducive for proper development in a young puppies’ formative learning stages. We’ve adopted a calculated feeding program that introduces grain-free organic foods in conjunction with crucial macro and micro nutrients for both the mother and her litter.  Providing a strong foundation of proper nutrition ensures that our Lab, Shichon, and Bichon puppies have all that they need to grow a healthy body during early stages of growth and development.
In addition to an enriched feeding regimen, we have taken the time to understand the variety of ailments that can occur when rearing young dogs.  Breeding over a number of years has helped us gain the right experience and education to put together the most effective combination of holistic, cultural, and traditional treatment practices to produce the healthiest and happiest puppy-dogs. When it comes to the overall health and well-being of our dogs, we put forth the very best to ensure all bases are covered. In connection to meticulously overseeing proper nutrition and health, we take strong pride in providing a stimulated learning environment that promotes the fullest social and psychological development possible. All of our Labs, Shichons, and Bichons are raised within the confines of our home, which allows us to continuously monitor each litter and allows us to attend to each pup on an individual basis. What sets us apart from other breeders is that we refuse to let our puppies, the fluffy palm-sized extensions of our family, experience the types of negative stimulus that so often creates broken foundations from which detrimental behavioral traits evolve.
