She was born and raised in Mobile, AL and a graduate of St. Paul's Episcopal School. Dr. Knizley attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate course work and completed her DVM from there in 2005. Dr. Knizley's life long desire was to be a veterinarian and is so happy she gets to realize this dream daily. Pet overpopulation is a significant problem locally and nationally. Our shelters are overcrowded and we see still see strays on the streets daily. Dr. Knizley strives to make a difference through offering an affordable public service and working with the shelters to help the homeless. Dr. Knizley has 4 dogs: Heidi, a Great Pyrenees, Isaiah, a Golden Retriever, and Skuzy & Knight, her two mutts who help out daily at the office. She also has 2 cats, W-2 and Evi. Of course, all of her pets are rescues!

She is a founding member of Save A Stray, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our local shelters. Stephanie has a degree in marine biology from the University of South Alabama. Stephanie has 4 dogs of her own and at any given time, Stephanie has between 4 and 14 fosters! Amy Pickard is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who was recently employeed at Wesson Animal Clinic for 5 years. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Zoology from Auburn University in 2005. She graduated with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Jefferson State Community College in 2009. She has a German Shepard mix named Shelby, a Labrador Mix named Aubrey, and a crazy Cat named Milo. Kelly Mcgough was raised in Fort Deposit, AL and graduated high school in Greenville, AL. She attended college for nursing, but decided to work with aniamls.

She began her career at Parkway Animal Hospital in Auburn, AL where she worked for 1 year. She worked for 5 years at Alabama Animal Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic in Montgomery, AL. Kelly has now been with South Alabama Spay & Neuter Center for 1 year. She has 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 fosters. Rachel Stewart, resently married, has worked with animals for 5+ years. She is an active volunteer within the rescue community. Her family includes two dogs of her own, Ginger and Stormy. Tiffany, the newest addition to SASNC, was born and raised in Mobile, AL and graduated from St.Paul's Episcopal School. She recently worked at the Human Society of Escambia County as the Assistant Director, but wanted to make a difference in her hometown. Tiffany owns 4 dogs: King, Cali, Dank, and Dizzy, 5 cats: Crazy, Pudgie, Mufasa, Fee, and Dee, and lots of fosters. She continues to better the community by trapping and releasing ferral cats once they have been spayed/neutered. Brandon Best Barnard has 3 dogs and 5 cats (all recues of course)!

In her home she has a cat room devoted to her MANY foster kittens. She is the self proclaimed crazy cat lady. She helps adopt cats through Save a Stray, so if you are in the market for a cat, she is your girl. She is happily married with 5 children. Brandon is an avid supporter of no kill animal shelters and mandatory spay/neuter laws. Molly Magee is the South Alabama Spay & Neuter Center receptionist. She attended McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and the University of South Alabama.
