Unless the parents are papered, there is absolutely no way to make sure with 100% certainty that the dogs are purebred. If you think the parents are siblings, then it is very dangerous. Interbreeding can cause major health and behavioral issues. The bump/knot could be anything from a deformity to a wound from playing too rough with the parents and/or brothers/sisters.
