Come See Our Dogs! Click here to see our adoptable dogs! The Brittany Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, care and placement of homeless dogs. The dogs are shown at our weekly adoption program at our sanctuary in Agua Dulce. Please check our schedule for adoption events. While in our care, the dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and given a thorough check-up along with any necessary medical attention. Our dogs are also microchipped.  If dogs are not adopted, they will live at the sanctuary for their entire life.  We run a no-kill facility. We rescue all dogs, regardless of breed, and we often focus our efforts on the harder-to-place dogs such as seniors, disabled or abused dogs, and "media condemned" breeds such as Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, & Dobies.
It's relatively easy to find a home for a cute little terrier, but the gratification for us comes from placing the 6-year-old Pit Bull with one eye, the stray mutt who has never had a home before, or the 12-year-old Doberman with severe separation anxiety (who is now living in a wonderful home of his own). Of course, we also have the adorable, easy, well-behaved angels who are still searching for their forever homes too. Ali has been volunteering with us for over a year. We are so lucky to have her! She has volunteered at the ranch, helping with the dogs and kennels, and has volunteered at various adoption events. She is also our primary social media volunteer, as well as part of our marketing and advertising team. Now a brand new mom, Ali isn't able to come to the ranch as often as she used to, but her dedication shows in her focus on ways she can help from home, such as expanding our marketing efforts. All of our pups (and humans) at The Brittany Foundation appreciate the dedication shown by this generous individual!
Ali is shown here with Stanley, who is available for adoption. Click here to learn more about Stanley! A Day in Their Paws We're at it again!  Everyone's favorite fundraiser, A Day in Their Paws, is coming up fast!  Mark your calendar for October 15 - we would love to see you at our open house from noon-4:00! A Day in Their Paws is one way we raise awareness of how shelter and rescue dogs live. Volunteers commit to spending 24 hours in a kennel with the dog of their choice.  Volunteers can only get out of the kennel by finding sponsors who will "buy their freedom" for $1 per minute. We hold an open house at The Brittany Foundation Sanctuary, with music, raffle, silent auction, and of course you can tour the sanctuary, visit our "incarcerated" volunteers, and learn about the dogs who are keeping them company. Visit our Day in Their Paws page to see our participating volunteers and help them meet their fundraising goals! The Brittany Foundation is part of Amazon Smile, a program where Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your purchases to the charitable organization of your choosing.

We have been involved with the French Brittany Spaniel for many years. Before that time, since we were young kids, we had the American Brittany.
Our passion for the Brittany Spaniel has been with us ever since. We offer a professional pointing dog training program that can begin when your Brittany Spaniel puppy is just four months old. Phase One is hourly training for puppy and client which would consist of basic obedience – heeling, whoa training, “here” command and moving into light bird work and introduction to the gun. Once your Breton puppy’s prey drive has been developed, they would be ready for the next step in L’Escarbot Kennel’s training program. Phase Two is monthly training with your Brittany Spaniel onsite at L’Escarbot Kennels. This next step is a rigorous daily regimen of obedience training, whoa training, field training, retrieving exercises, whistle training, hand signals, extensive bird work, etc. Trainer John Mooney will give weekly performance updates on the progress of your Brittany Spaniel.Brittany Spaniel Puppies – 5/19/2016 These Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve Brittany Spaniel pups are now old enough for people to visit and reserve.
