There are plenty of great websites out there that can help you to fully understand this lovable breed. If you have any French or English bulldog related questions don’t hesitate to use us here at Baytown Bulldogs, as we are well versed on the breed. We have a contract and a 1 year health guarantee that is in line with Bulldog industry standards. Before going home with you, each puppy will have a complete check up with the veterinarian. They will be sent home with a bag of their current food, a collar, AKC puppy folder, copy of the litter certificate, toy and something special with their mom’s scent to help them transition. All puppies come pre-spoiled and with extra love from our family. We treat all our puppies with the utmost love and affection. They all will get used to going potty on a pad, going outside and playing in the grass and exploring the house and their environment, so they are socialized when they go home with you. They will be familiar with children, adults and other dogs.

The park, with a public viewing window, is also used by volunteers and staff throughout the day as a training and exercise area for dogs awaiting adoption. Please note that you may see PHS/SPCA employees or volunteers in our room before or after regular business hours. And, we may temporarily disable our camera while cleaning or maintaining the room and at times when adopters are a bit shy. For a small percentage of adoptable dogs, PHS/SPCA requires an $90 training fee. This fee, collected at the time of adoption, enrolls your adopted dog in our training class. Our staff and volunteers make visitors aware of the training fee early in the adoption process. We require training when it will greatly add to a dog’s success in his or her new home. In other cases, we may conduct a property inspection or have other requirements. Our goal is not to make the process cumbersome, but to do what we know will ensure a lasting adoption. Since we’ve spent time with each dog prior to adoption and have knowledge of different breeds, plus a success rate for lasting adoptions well above the national average, we feel good about our matchmaking process. Some of our mixed breed dogs have been DNA tested, and those results are included, at no extra cost, with their adoption fee. If adopters fall for a dog in our care who hasn’t been tested, they can purchase a DNA test from our on-site retail store at the time of adoption.
