You have to be "on the money" with the width and space on each side. I bought the Richfield 2" room darkening blinds but, they didnt have all the sizes I needed so I had go with these( Richfield 2" faux wood blinds). On a positive note I did mix and match but not in the same rooms and you cant tell the difference and the quility is very good its just the hardware is THUMBS DOWN!!!! HOPE THEY READ THIS AND MAKE POP-IN BRACKETS LIKE THEY DO IN THE RICHFIELD ROOM DARKENING BLINDS !!!!! PLEASE WRITE REVIEWS BECAUSE THE DO HELP!!! FYI: If you do buy the richfield darkening blinds they are plastic not faux wood like these but like I said you cant tell the difference unless someone was REALLY looking. Yes () No (8) Report Yes () No (8) Verified purchaser I love these blinds. They look beautiful installed and so much cheaper than what I was expecting to pay for blinds. They are so white and clean and crisp looking. Installation is a breeze. One thing to note is that the blinds come half an inch shorter than the measurements listed.

So order th exact size of your window and then they will fit perfectly. So if your window measures 36" buy the 36" blinds and you will have about 1/4" room on both sides of the blinds once they are installed. I would highly recommend these. Yes () No () Report Yes () No () Verified purchaser Good quality and a good value. We shopped Home Depot and Lowes and are very happy we bought at Walmart. Yes (8) No (0) Report Yes (8) No (0) Blinds are pretty good, but do have their flaws! They do look great for the price and appear to be good insulators from all the heat from the sun. Some items were damaged before I received them and after being promised by customer service that I would have replacements in 3 to 4 days I have never received them in over a week! One problem is the hardware. When I used my small electric screwdriver the heads popped off some of the screws and others had the heads formed wrong and off-center. (Fortunately Lowe's has lots of screws in stock) The mounting brackets are a bit flimsy and the blinds are difficult to fit snugly into the brackets. All in all the project (9 windows) has taken two days, but part of that time was because our windows are framed (like picture frames) and we had to make a mounting strip for the blind brackets over each window.

I hate my windows!! Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser Put them all around our Texas room and they really brightened up the room. Yes (2) No (0) Report Yes (2) No (0) Verified purchaser The blinds are a wonderful value and exactly what I expected. I looked at numerous websites and these were the cheapest and even cheaper than aluminum blinds that I saw on many other sites. They look fantastic and not cheap looking at all! Yes () No (4) Report Yes () No (4) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser This purchase was exactly as advertised. The price was great and the installation was a breeze. When I tried to shorten the blinds as directed in the instruction, I guess I gave too much elbow grease because the plastic plug broke. It's ok though, you can't even notice it and the blinds were not extremely long.

I just left it alone. Still happy with the blinds. I'm considering purchasing more for the rest of my home. Yes (9) No (1) Report Yes (9) No (1) Verified purchaser VERY disappointed that some of these boxes you can clearly tell were re-packaged items. Nobody bothered to check if all the pieces were accounted for. Would not buy this again. The product is fair for the price paid - only if all the pieces are there. Yes (3) No (0) Report Yes (3) No (0)How to Install Inside Wood and Faux Wood Blinds Inside Mount Wood and Fauxwood Blinds are easy to install. In this short video, you will learn how to install them. Horizontal blinds are easy to install, in this short video you will learn to install them. A screwdriver is all that’s needed to install your blinds; or for an easier installation you can use a cordless screwdriver or a drill with a ¼” Hex head bit. Before starting, carefully unpack your blinds and mounting hardware. To familiarize yourself with the contents of your box, check the printed instructions included with your product.

Begin your installation by positioning your mounting brackets to the top of the window away from the glass. For easiest installation we recommend positioning the brackets all the way to the front of your window opening. To make it easier to fasten your screws, create starter holes by tapping a screw with a hammer into any two side bracket holes. Fasten 2 screws to secure your first bracket. Install the right side bracket and any additional support brackets that may be included. Next, snap the included valance clips over the front lip of your headrail before mounting the blind. Space your valance clips evenly, avoiding contact with any mechanism inside the top of the blind. Slide your headrail into the brackets, this should go in easily. Completely close the covers on your brackets by pressing up on the bottom of your bracket with your thumbs while lowering the front part of the bracket until the cover snaps into place. To complete your installation, snap the valance into your pre-installed clips, top first and then bottom.
