All this is thanks to Purina Cat Chow. was to help build better lives for the cats at the shelter, and we are so proud of the changes
and the difference we hope to continue making in the lives o so many. We had a great day working hand-in-hand with the Purina team for the finishing touches. A HUGE thank you goes out to Pilots and Paws along w...ith Colleen & Dave who started their day very early this morning flying into South Carolina to pick up our precious cargo and then fly them here to us. Our new momma and her little family will be staying at our home for "un-wed mommas" where they will learn whats its like to be " safe & Loved" We know - we know the puppies are absolutely adorable so before all the questions start coming in they are just under 4 weeks old and are NOT available for adoption at this time. We do however have another little family that WILL be available for adoption next weekend. ( if
all goes according to plan) Be sure to follow the S&L Animal Rescue fb page for updates on our new little family as well as our "Quarterbacks" who will be making their debut latter this week. S & L Animal RescueIn the same vein of "family", we have a flight scheduled with Pilots & Paws tomorrow to bring in another Momma dog and her 7 - 24 day old puppies. Another rescue asked us to take them since they could not find a fosterhome (and we know the struggle first hand). Without committment from us, they would've all been euthanized yesterday so we simply had to step in. We'll be posting pics soon, so keep checking for updates. Are we a little crazy? L Animal Rescue added 3 new photos. So our Momma decided that today was the day to welcome her family into this world. She's so small and young we worried how she would do. But in true rescue fashion, she was a champ! Needless to say, it's been a long morning and the famiiy is now partaking in a much needed nap. We'll update you with how many boys vs girls we have when everyone's up and moving around again. You can see how little these suckers are as I held one up for a solo pic. Unfortunately, 1 of the pups didn't make it and Momma seemed to know that right after delivery. Despite all of our efforts, there was an even better place for him to be :( So we will cherish the 7 little lives that were brought into this world today and simply say a little prayer for "Jake" (since he deserved a name). RIPS & 's photo. If you're in the area on Sat, please stop in and meet the HarnessLife crew. They work tirelessly to spay & neuter animals in need. So come in & get a dog wash that will help support their continued efforts to stop "Roverpopulation". Thei
