To adopt a rescued pet go to or The Bin Kitty Collective. February Free Spay & Neuter month at ABVC ABVC  offers Stray Support in the month of February each year. For every February since our veterinary clinic has opened, our clinic has organised a free Spay and Neuter campaign for the stray cat population of Dubai. Since 2013, we’ve also ‘spayed and neutered’ a set amount of dogs for rescue organisations. If you have stray cats in your area that you are feeding, consider having them spayed or neutered to keep them from overpopulating the neighbourhood. If you work for a rescue organisation with dogs, you can contact us for support in March 2016 for dogs as well. Have you lost your Pet in Dubai? Pets get lost and found all over Dubai… and very often there are people who put up their pets for adoption.

They ‘re very friendly and they have collar too, so I thought they were having a walk with their owner! But now I believe that they have been abandon as they’re still here getting skinnier everyday! Last night one of the dog got really weak I though he might die so me and my friend miss Manuela took him to the vet for help and he gets to stay for one night! This evening we have to collect him from the vet and can only take him back to the beach where there is no shelter nor food in this horrendous heat!! I can feed them until I leave but I’m not sure if they will survive the heat! This is all I can do as I am only a tourist and Manuela is living in an apartment!! I will be here a couple more days if any of you can help them.. As I said they’re very lovely dogs… Sharki arrived at Richardson Rescue safe and sound.
He was out in the office today meeting and greeting visitors. We will keep everyone updated when this sweetie finds a new home. Roque is an amazing tiger.  He lives at Born Free’s tiger sanctuary in a place called Bannerghatta, in southern India.  Roque, born on 17th May 1998, lives in a big forest enclosure and enjoys exploring.
He climbs over boulders, rolls in sandy soil, and keeps cool in his deep pool.  Roque has a very sad story, but today he gets the loving care he needs. Roque was only a few days old when he was taken from his mother.  He was put on sale in a pet-shop in Barcelona in Spain.  The tiny cub was scared and lonely.  He was kept in a small glass tank and paced up and down, crying for his mum.  Born Free doesn’t think it is a good idea to keep wild animals as pets.  They belong in the wild and it is very difficult to properly care for them. Born Free rescued Roque and brought him to his new home in India.  The cute and cuddly cub has grown into a big and impressive adult.  He enjoys patrolling his territory and investigates the forest and the insects, lizards and small mammals that live there.  His favourite place is beneath a large bush high up on a rocky bank beside his pool, where he gets a great view of the countryside Adopt Roque from just £2.50 per month and help fund his daily food and care AND support big cat protection worldwide.

He was confiscated from a wildlife trader in the Snoul Kratie Province of east Cambodia. He was less than a month old and it is thought that poachers killed his mother. The trader was taking Jasper to Vietnam, a transit point to Taiwan, China and Japan, when a forestry official from the Wildlife Protection Office (WPO) apprehended the trader and confiscated the tiger. The cub was taken to a rescue centre just outside Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Care for the Wild immediately sent vets, supplies and medicines for the malnourished cub.
