Noah’s Hope started rescuing Siouxland animals in 2007. We became a registered non-profit organization in 2010, and we opened our Thrift Store at 26th and Myrtle to help support our work. Our all-volunteer group has always focused on underdogs. We rescue the dogs animal shelters consider hopeless: the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We believe they make the very best pets because somehow, some way, they understand. And they thank us. They have very little funding and were doing the best they could but had no other option than to euthanize their strays. Since then, Noah's Hope has pulled 56 dogs from their shelter and Friday we pulled another 7, Aracely being one of them. She is a very thin eight week old puppy that was dying from Parvo. We took her straight to the hospital and she's been hospitalized since. She and 62 others are alive today because they asked for our help on June 27. The precious lives that are saved by forming these relationships with these shelters are irreplaceable.
