Keep in mind though people refer to the American Lab, there is actually only one standard.
I have looked at hundreds of litters and traveled twice to Michigan and once to Arkansas picking up puppies that we some day hope to breed. Breeding stock is so very expensive and our last female was $1,500. I don't believe there is much of a market for dogs in that price range he...re in Nebraska. We are pricing our next litter at $800 but please look at what we offer for this price. I like to sell dogs the way I like to buy and breeders seem to always be teaching me how to do it better. The dogs I am interested in is the blocky headed full stocky looking dogs with the otter tail. Temperament is very important as well and assuring inherent issues like hips are minimized by obtaining OFA certifications on all our breeding stocks. We raise dogs and if they don't meet our standard we start again. It's 2 years that we don't know if we bought successful breeding stock or not. All of our dogs are family dogs and spend time in the house. Were excited about expanding our dog kennels in the spring 2016.
We are still small in relative terms only going to 6 kennels, maybe 8 as some back up. We sell full AKC registration and guarantee the health of our pups. Any questions please call, we expect at least 7 puppies and we have 4 people interested that asked to be notified first. Ask for Gene 402 269 0393. Donner was born with a condition called mega-esophagus, which is caused by a birth defect. Kimberly Wade, senior manager of communications and events at the Humane Society, says someone brought him in a few weeks ago. "He was found in a litter of puppies and he was the only one that was not able to eat," says Wade. "He seemed to be struggling. So the person that found him brought him to us. Luckily for Donner, he is now in our care and he will get the surgery he needs to live that long, healthy life."
