I stay at the Zenyard once or twice a year while visiting Phoenix and have always enjoyed my stays there. Some B+B's are a little awkward with shared space but Zenyard does a great job customizing to all guests since you can easily relax in areas that are more frequented or less frequented with other guests. The only thing you'll regret about the ZenYard is not staying long enough. Beautiful property with spacious rooms and with all the amenities you could hope for such as: a honor bar stocked with different wines and quality beers, a salt water pool, freshly prepared breakfast if you ask, a hot tub, and more. Had a great stay for one night at ZenYard Guest House! The hosts were kind and helpful and the room was clean and incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Phoenix. I really enjoyed staying at ZenYard Guest House because I felt so at home. It was the first time I have ever stayed in a private house and I felt so safe and comfortable that I could just come and go through the secure, coded gates.

Breakfast the next day was a nice experience too! The Cowboy Casita was a great little place! We really enjoyed making food in the kitchen. The location was also pretty good, especially considering that public transport is close! Overall a really nice place to stay and super affordable I can't recommend the Zen Yard highly enough! The rooms and grounds are lovely and comfortable. The pool is gorgeous, particularly at night. It's quiet and comfy, a great place to relax and refresh. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. This truly feels like a very lush home away from home! Loved this funky place in the middle of a residential section of town. We never met the owners but the communication was outstanding. No TV was nice and overall quiet escape was tranquil. We will definitely return next time in Phoenix. Try the homemade treats in the lobby where there is an 'honor' bar. “Wish I stayed longer!!” Our stay at the Zen Garden Inn was short but very sweet.

We wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the saltwater pool, and wonderful patio areas, which have been designed to encourage peaceful relaxation. We loved the thoughtful and romantic night lighting, too! Our stay in the Jerome room was comfortable, and easy self check in/check out was perfect... ZenYard Guest House was a refreshing escape from the rather drab, monochromatic surroundings of Phoenix. Much like an oasis in the desert, passing through the private gate, one enters a lovely world of peaceful fountains, an inviting pool, and native desert plantings similar to those one would find near a water source in the desert. It is quiet and peaceful,... Zen is located in the heart of Phoenix. There are many rooms; the Cowboy room was ok; nicely decorated, but dirty under bed, no outlets in bathroom, hard to find electrical switches in the bath; no towel racks etc. I did not meet innkeeper, either at night or in the morning.
