(Marcus Santos/New York Daily News) A crew of dimwitted crooks nabbed Luna from this Bronx home, and were caught after they called her family trying to collect a $2,500 NYPD reward for the pooch. Cops found the adorable month-old Siberian Husky puppy, which was stolen from a Bronx apartment by a crew of demented but dim thieves, and returned the pooch to her family Friday, police said. Luna was unharmed when cops found her and the suspects in a vacant building under construction on Boston Road, about three miles from where she was taken, officials said.
Cops tracked down a group of six after someone contacted the pup’s owner, Nancy Torres, in the hopes of collecting a reward for the dog. On Friday, cops made two arrests.
