Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida IncQue, a 5 year old male with black and white coat and blue eyes. Que was an owner surrender to a local shelter due to his owner's health and no longer being able to care for him. He is a chunky Husky as he has become overweight so has several pounds to lose. Que travels well in the car. He reportedly does not care for male dogs but is ok around female dogs. Notes from the previous owner included that Que is friendly with cats (although we have not yet confirmed he is cat friendly). Que would do better in a home with no small children. Other than his weight, Que is healthy, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines.

Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida Inc added 3 new photos.Ciera - Female with black and white coat with blue eyes, 7 ½ years old Ciera has found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own. Her previous adopter has fallen on difficult times and has had health issues to where she was struggling to keep up with the care of her furkids. As a result Ciera, Dakota, and Nisha have been surrendered back to SHRF. Because of the bond that Ciera and Dakota developed when they first met we would prefer to adopt them out together. They ...are both very easy going girls who would do well in any family home. Ciera is a petite Husky who is sweet as can be and loves to give kisses. She is friendly with other dogs (large and small). She loves riding in the car or going anywhere she can with her humans. She gets very excited as soon as the leash comes out. If allowed, Ciera will sleep in bed with you. She is housebroken and non destructive when left alone. She still has plenty of spunk for a middle aged Husky for walks and playing with other dogs.

Dakota IV - Black and white coat with brown eyes, 4 years old female Dakota has found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own. As a result Dakota, Ciera, and Nisha have been surrendered back to SHRF. Because of the bond that Dakota and Ciera developed when they first met we would prefer to adopt them out together. They are both very easy going girls who would do well in any family home. Dakota is the most lovable Husky whose big, brown eyes make her irresistible. She gets along with other dogs (large and small). Dakota adores children as well as her adult humans. If allowed, Dakota will sleep in bed with you. She has a silly and goofy personality. Dakota will flop down and roll over onto her back with her full belly exposed wherever she thinks she might get comfy, whether it is your lap, the floor, or a lazy boy recliner. Both girls are healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida IncBlanco is a 4 year old male with a white coat and blue eyes.

Blanco came to SHRF from animal services where he was taken in as an animal cruelty case. We don't know the details of what he has been through but looking for a home where he can grow trust in his humans again and be spoiled and loved the way he deserves. Blanco is very sweet once he gets to know you. He is head shy and will need to go to a home without young children. Blanco is also not small dog or cat friendly.... Slow introductions with other dogs his own size would be best. Blanco enjoys car rides (especially having his head out the window). He is vocal when he wants something. For a young husky he is pretty mellow in nature. He also appears to be housebroken. Blanco is healthy, heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Leena was picked up as a stray by animal services with another husky, who was adopted from the shelter. Her owner decided they did not want to take them back and surrendered them to animal services. This was not her first offense of being picked up so she is either an escape artist or was kept outside unattended and knew her way out of the yard. Leena is a petite Husky with a good temperament. She also has ...a high prey drive as most Huskies. Leena gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing. Leena is house broken, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is a low heartworm positive and will be treated. Her adopters will be provided with instructions on this treatment. Hunter is a 2 year old male with a red and white coat with blue eyes. Hunter was surrendered to animal services by his previous owners for reasons unknown. He does well with other dogs and is good around children. He is now in his forever home as his fosters have decided to adopt him!My name is Lexi and I am a beautiful and healthy four-year-old Husky. I am very active and love going on walks or runs. I do have a tendency to pull on walks, so I would benefit from someone who has some time to devote to leash training. However, if we’re running, you’re going at my speed so I do just marvelously! Another thing I love is being groomed. As soon as I see the grooming glove, I roll over on my back in excitement. Oh, and I almost forgot! I am a great swimmer ...and I LOVE water! Kiddie pool, adult pool, I don’t discriminate, just give me water! I am completely housetrained and crate trained. It is recommended that I be crated while you are away from the house. I know how to sit and shake and am very treat motivated. I get along with most dogs, but I'm unsure about cats. I can be vocal, but some people find it pretty cute that if they howl, I’ll howl back. I love attention and have a lot of love to give in return!
