As a "Hands On" owner Jeff makes sure every employee is provided with monthly opportunities to attend classes and sharpen their skills.

He wants everyone he employs to stay up on the newest standards and methods in car maintenance and repair. His passion outside of the shop is "HORSEPOWER." He visits the SEMA show every year (and brings a few employees sometimes) to learn about the newest trends in automotive technology. Jeff loves his family and supports his wife and daughter in their passion-Horses and his son in his passion-Motorcycling. "I Love Horses as long as they're in cylinders!" Is a catch phrase you can hear Jeff repeat around the shop on any given day. Greg is the son of the owners of A Master Mechanic.  Following in his father’s footsteps, mechanically speaking, he had a wrench in his hand at a very young age.  Around age four, he was working on his bicycles and a couple years later, helping dad in the home garage.  Quickly picking up on the art of auto repair, he has helped start the family business, leaving briefly to work for a local dealership.  Greg has held his emissions testing license since the age of 17, has become ASE certified, and when at the dealer he became dealer certified with specialist training on rotary engines. 

Recently, Greg’s family welcomed their first baby.  Only time will tell if Greg’s son follows in the family automotive repair tradition. Meet Brandon, a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno studying Criminal Justice. While working at a local auto parts retailer delivering parts all over the Reno/Sparks area, Brandon says he always admired A Master Mechanic because he saw how they treated customers and employees very well. Brandon enjoys helping the technicians in any way he can, all the while learning and building his skills in all areas of the shop. Air Conditioning Certified, Brakes ASE Certified,  electrical, diesel ford & dodge diagnostic strategies,  hybrids Jerry is our lead technician. Jerry started in the industry as an 11 year old boy at his brother's shop (Leon's Auto Service) in los Angeles. Jerry would go to school in the mornings and then work in the evenings. He worked at his brother's shop for 9 years. From there Jerry decided to go to Southwest Tires for 4 years. He then was offered a job at Deno's Automotive. Jerry worked there for 8 years. Now the lead technician for A Master Mechanic Jerry enjoys the fun, and friendly environment. On the weekends he spends time with his family and when it gets a little warmer outside he enjoys fishing and BBQs. Jerry moved to Nevada in 2000 because he wanted to better his life in the auto industry. Jerry would like to travel and see some different places.

Os started in the Automotive Industry when he was 15 years old at Leon’s Auto Service in Los Angeles, California. From Leon’s he came to Reno and worked at another shop for over six years before coming to work at      A Master Mechanic. Os enjoys working here because of the family environment and loyalty we show our customers. In Os’s spare time he enjoys relaxing with the family and traveling to close places around Nevada. He moved to Nevada for better opportunities in the Automotive Industry also.  (This makes three employees here that believe in the opportunities the Nevada Automotive Industry has to offer.  When Os retires he would like to travel around the world. Aaron changed gears so to speak with employment.

Spending the last 3 years working as an electrician while attending classes at TMCC  for Diesel hydraulics, Auto 101 and Electrical.  In his spare time he works on his own project car, and is a big fan of UNR Wolfpack. If you get the opportunity be sure and tell him hello. Our Shop Assistant wears many hats at A Master Mechanic.  You will find him giving complementary rides to our customers, preparing lunches for our staff and is also smog certified. Tom is Shari’s dad and Jeff’s Father-In-Law. Tom owned his own TV Repair shop for 31 years in Pueblo, Colorado, then moved to Nevada to enjoy retired life and be close to his family. Tom used to be in the Air Force from 1967-1975 and worked at the Pentagon for some time. He used to own a '67 Camero and wished he never sold it.
