I had two labrador retrievers that were acquired as companions and each earned obedience and working titles. I realized though, that they lacked in structure and coat and decided not to breed these two girls. At Dolce Vita Labradors we strive for the all-around Labrador; wonderful temperaments for the family, beauty for the show ring, and working ability for the field. All of our Labradors are tested and cleared for hip and elbow dysplasia through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), as well as their eyes are cleared for PRA through CERF annually and are OptiGen tested. Our Labradors are a loving part of our family, they are companions first and show and hunting dogs second. All of our litters are carefully planned, taking into consideration both the sire and dam’s pedigree.

Our goal is to produce puppies that are healthy, happy and true to breed type. It is our responsibility as breeders to maintain the welfare, health and happiness of this wonderful breed. We only breed a litter when we ourselves are planning to keep a puppy. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home and as a part of our family to ensure they are well socialized by the time they are ready for their new families. All of our puppies are placed on a limited registration with a spay/neuter contract. It is very important for us to maintain a relationship with all the families that have puppies from Dolce Vita. We are always here to offer any support or guidance you require. We love to receive photos of your puppy and hear about how they are doing. Your puppy will always be a part of the Dolce Vita Family. We are members of: The Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association, The Rose City Labrador Retriever Club and The American Kennel Club.
