Vent Hoods & Range Hoods LG may have created the ultimate space saving laundry solution in the All-In-One Washer and Dryer. Perfect for people who want to do laundry at home but don’t have an external venting source which conventional dryers require. This unit runs on standard voltage electricity and is great for placement in closets; it’s also a good solution for apartments, businesses and vacation homes where there may be space constraints. Since it doesn’t need to be vented and it washes and dries your clothes, it appears to be a great small-space appliance.

I did a quick search of Amazon and there are a few similar options from other companies. Has anyone had the chance to do a load of laundry in one of these units? I’m interested in finding out how well it works. The load capacities seem ridiculously small, and I’m curious about its drying capabilities. Old dyer heated up entire house because it vented hot air outside the machine. This dryer internalizes this process which is great in summer when thunderstorms mean clothes don't dry but it is still stinking hot! * Seals, bowl and all other trays, etc are easy to clean and mould free. * Have had the machine 1 year now and no problems yet. * Instruction book could be written A LOT better.

I think this machine has a bad rep because everyone is unclear as to how to use the machine properly but they don't realize this. 45 people found this helpful, do you? reviewed on May 01, 2012 Very practical for townhouse living. reviewed on Jan 11, 2012 It looks so GREAT!!!. It uses very little water. You can over-ride the automatic settings and still do the old basic 30 min COLD wash. The washing comes out smelling so very fresh, no laundry liquid scent, just a clean smell, almost like that sunshine smell when your clothes have been out on the line on a sunny day.The steam re-fresh cycle is like having your very own dry cleaners in the laundry! The light function is fantastic also.( A light turns on in the machine at the beginning and end of each cycle for loading and unloading.)The door opening is huge which makes loading etc very easy. I've only had it 2 weeks so far. It seems to be collecting lint/fluff all around the rubber door lining? It gets VERY hot to touch, keep little ones away.

The instruction book could/should be written/edited by an Australian and put into more simple language. The removal of bolts after transporting directions are NOT clear enough. I removed the bolt and tried to pry off the rubber bunger as directed and a long white plastic tube thing came out as well and I thought I had broken the machine. After re looking at the diagram with a magnifying glass(LOL) my daughter pointed out that we had done the correct thing, hence, the manual really needs to be re-written more clearly and simply. I also don't like the little tube and fluff filter thingo right down at the bottom near the floor, it's tricky to get the water out into a bowl/bucket etc from such a low height. 6 people found this helpful, do you? 3 1/2 years on, I HATE the machine. Everything comes out covered in hairs and fluff. I clean the rubber around the machine regularly but it doesn't help. I also de scale regularly , doesn't help ei... posted on Jan 11, 2012 reviewed on Aug 01, 2011

Absolutely the best.love washing my clothes my black clothes come out with not even a fluff on it.have 4 children and they are all boys so they always dirty themselves and everything comes off in the wash.this is my first lg buy and my first front loader purchase i had a hoover which is also the best stayed with me for 6 years.very happy and looking to buy an lg airconditioner. reviewed on Jul 27, 2010 Looks Great and is relatively quiet. Clothes do come out clean. Any long sleeve or long pants come out screwed up like they have been twisted by a drill. If you dry them striaght after they get set like this and make iron oh so fun. It does take a long time to dry and will crease your clothes if you put anything near a full load in. You can't use liquid detergent in this machine because as you load it into the draw it flows out then gets covered by it as you slide the detergeant draw back in. It looks good and does get the clothes clean.I have tried everything, they still come out wet.

Not dripping wet but still has to be hung out after an 8hr cycle! I have only put in the correct 6kg of washing. It makes quite a bit of noise during the spin cycle. Like an aeroplane landing in the laundry. reviewed on Jul 07, 2010 Washing Machine works ok. This LG model is obviously a lemon because the clothes are coming out wet even after the second and third attempt at drying and yet LG shuns responsibility for it. The product is not doing what it claims to do. This is not acceptable as it consumes too much electricity and at the same time it's not performing to specifications. reviewed on May 17, 2010 Takes a big load of washing as we are a family of 6! Worked well while it was working. Removes lint really well. Broke down 1 week after warrenty expired and was told tuff. The manual is vague and complex to read. Drying function is confusing. Drying option takes longer than 3 hours for a small load so this was a waste of money. Even the wash cycle is long.
