Pitbull Puppies For Sale In Orlando Fl

More than 10,000 homeless dogs and cats will turn to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for caring, compassion, and hope through our animal shelters this year. By adopting a pet, you’re not only providing that animal a loving family and a safe home, you’re also making room for the sheltering of another homeless pet. We can help you find the ideal pet for you—one that matches your lifestyle and your expectations. One Organization – Two Locations The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando has two locations from which you can adopt a pet. Each location has a different selection of adoptable dogs and cats. 2800 County Home Road Monday – Sunday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. What to Bring to the Animal Shelter If you rent, we require that you obtain permission from your landlord and understand your pet policies prior to adopting A driver’s license or other valid photo identification We run adoption fee specials through out the year but standard adoption prices are:

$50 for cats and $100 for kittens. Dog adoption fees range from $75 to $300. The range of fees helps offset the price of housing some pets for extended periods of time. We do not euthanize for time or space. You can save time by downloading and completing the adoption application before you arrive at the animal shelter. What’s Included in the Adoption Fee Most of the pets that you visit in our shelter will be ready to go home. This means they have been: Sterilized (surgically spayed or neutered, or for males dogs, sterilized with Zeuterin® injections) Treated for internal and external parasites Permanently identified with a microchip Provided with core vaccines appropriate for dogs and cats including rabies, distemper, and upper respiratory viruses. Cats receive a Feline Leukemia test. Dogs will have been tested for heartworm disease. Each pet also receives a free post-adoption veterinary exam and, if they choose to visit one of our clinics for the post-adoption exam, a one month application of flea prevention as well.

Learn how much we spend on each dog and cat who we shelter and adopt. Some pets may require additional medication, which can be purchased at time of adoption. We also have a full time animal behaviorist on staff who can assist with post adoption behavior questions.

A to Z Index | You are here: Animals & Pets Thank you for considering pet adoption from a shelter! It is our goal to match homeless shelter pets with loving, forever homes. Animal Services has hundreds of adoptable pets at any given time. We operate on a first come, first serve basis to give everyone an equal opportunity. We strive to place every pet in a furever home, which is why the first step of adoption from our shelter is coming to our location and interacting with the pet of your choice. Adoption applications can be filled out at our shelter once interaction has taken place and are not available online. Once you have interacted with the pet of your choice, you can fill out an adoption application at our front desk area. Once your application is approved, we will ask for payment of the adoption fee. After your pet has met the mandatory hold requirements and is processed through our clinic, he or she will be ready to go home! We ask interested adopters to please come prepared with photo identification.
