Time to get real: when we ask people what reservations they have about Poodle adoption, we hear the same things over and over again.   You CAN find purebred Poodles for adoption in an animal shelter or rescue group. Poodles and Poodle puppies for adoption are NOT in any way inferior to or different from those for sale. If you want a puppy, you DON’T have to buy a Poodle puppy.  Poodle puppies ARE available for adoption. Here’s the truth: you absolutely can find a Poodle, even a Poodle puppy, for adoption in an animal shelter or rescue group.  Think about it: let’s say you buy a Poodle puppy for sale by a breeder. But what would happen to your wonderful Poodle if, tragically, something happened to you? The lucky person who adopts your Poodle would be getting a great dog!  Many of them are housebroken and trained. Poodle rescue organizations often care for their adoptable dogs in foster homes, which means their foster families will be able to tell you if the Poodle you want to adopt is good with other animals or kids, and if he or she is housebroken and knows any basic commands.

As you can see, adopting from a rescue organization is likely the very safest way for people with children to add a new Poodle to their family!For 16 years, together, we have grown CPR.  From a very humble 25 dogs placed in our first year, we've now given hope, health and homes to over 5,000 dogs. As we've grown and matured, we've become the place where those who need more can find it.  That may be anything from extensive surgery to simple vaccines.  It is from offering a long term home with us to finding a home perfect for them. What we have given them most of all is very simple - time. We have asked you for many things in our 16 years.  We ask for donations for surgeries and for buildings, for equipment and for vehicles, for gas money and for food and you give.  We ask you for your talents and you volunteer.   What we have not asked for in a long time is money to buy time - time to let us continue to give time.  It's time to ask. CPR's patrons program is our sustained giving program and it is our patrons who buy us time.  

CPR has grown to the point that we can't continue our mission nor can we grow unless we have more sustaining donors buying us that time.  Our request is simple - $ 25 per month.  Our goal is huge -1,000 donors each giving at least $ 25 per month.  At $ 25 per month, our team will have the time they need to do what needs to be done to help each dog.   Form now til the end of the year, callers will be reaching out to our adopter base with one request. I have many pictures of parent dogs here, their pedigrees (most are from champion lines), show records, puppy & adult dog pictures from previous litters. Fun to watch the puppies grow up when I update the new litter photos in my albums every 2 weeks. Some SUPER COOL News: Animal Planet is considering featuring Me & My Dogs on their show “Breeder of the Pack”!!! I am CRAZY excited about it, and a little nervous too! It will be SO fun!!! What better to celebrate the warm, sunny days! I am truly already in Heaven!!!! Some even COOLER news: One of Cesar Millan’s (The Dog Whisperer) trainers got a puppy from Me! Then came back for another!!! AND not only that, my dogs may get to be on a video!!! We are keeping our fingers & paws crossed!!! I also have some puppies with families pretty close to The White House. I hope someday… we will see! Prices for our CKC Designer Hybrid puppies are listed on their pages.
