I was a little frustrated to find that it was an "instore only" dress and that the nearest store that had it in my size was 3 hours away. I called the store and found that I could not have the dress sent to a store near me without paying in full for the dress. I went to the Nothlake store expecting horrible service based on the yp reviews. What I found was a pleasant, responsive, attentive salesperson who helped me figure out my size and who found the dress for me to try on near my son's college (where I will be visiting this weekend.)

She helped me with 10 dresses in varying sizes, even though she knew I had no intention of buying any of those dresses. She even gave me a $20 dollar off coupon to use when I do find the dress I am looking for. Finding and purchasing my dress was one of my favorite aspects of wedding planning. Their supply of dresses is fabulous - all of my favorite dresses were at this store (and I visited many stores). The ladies at NY Bride were extremely accomodating (I visited multiple times to show my mother/mil/friends the dress that I had chosen) and always friendly. My dress came as promised and on time. I used the dress for my bridal portrait and they did a wonderful job of cleaning/pressing the dress after the portrait (which was outdoors) and before the wedding.

While trying on several dresses, the attendant was very dedicated to helping me,and supported the style I was looking for in a dress. She helped me with every detail. I really was not sure of my dress size so I guessed a close estimate, when I needed a bigger size, the attendant really tried to assist me in finding the correct fits.The only problem was that the store/company itself had only ordered a few sizes in specific dresses, so the ones I really liked did not fit, and I am not very big...about average.

However, they were dedicated to meeting my needs as well as they could. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, comforting, professional, and the attendant had a great disposition. She chatted with me professionally, yet comfortably, was kind and polite. I enjoyed my experience,even if I did not find exactly what I was looking for, I would still go back and try more dresses.
