This Saturday we are aiming at getting every younger and able bodied rescue out and about for a walk. We have over 100 rescues at our sanctuary so we are going to need your help. If you are able to spare 2 hours of your day please come and help us take a rescue for a walk. We will begin at 8am and end at 10am to avoid any of them getting too hot. Walkers need to be over the age of 16. Our Puggies love their walks so much, come on and join in being their reason for happiness this Saturday.

Poogie is a beautiful 14 year old Pug who has been part of the Pug Rescue family for a while now. He started with a cough so we took him straight to our vets. Poogie was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and because of his age we did not want to take any chances so we admitted him to hospital. Sadly this little boy passed away last night in hospital. Poogie we are so happy we could love and care for you while you were with us. We are sorry you were sick but our amazing vets tried all they could, at the end your age just was not on your side pretty boy. must say I am a tad wonky and seeing one and a half of everything because I am on these LOVELY drugs to make sure my ouchi is not too ouchi. I am not yet walking fully on me own yet but when I am supported I take me own steps. The Doctor said this is a champion move and he is chuffed wif me recovery. The smells, the Pugs, the food and ME FAMILY are so wonderful to see again.
