While we serve as an open-door shelter to the residents of Antioch, our animals can be adopted to residents in and out of Antioch.Animal Services is a division of the Antioch Police department, and houses the city’s Animal Control department. Our Animal Control Officers' responsibilities include patrolling the city streets and picking up and confining stray, sick, injured, vicious and deceased animals.Our public services include low-cost micro chipping, dog licensing, and pet adoptions.
