NEW LITTER COMING SOON       STAY TUNED ... What is an OLDE English Bulldogge?? The modern Olde English Bulldogge is a reconstruction of the original Olde Bulldogge of the 17th and 18th century. Various genetic crosses have been used in carefully and thoughtfully planned breeding programs to obtain this goal.  The foundation of most of today's Olde English Bulldogges can be traced to English Bulldog, American Bulldog, APBT and Mastiff. These dogs  were used very selectively in various combinations to obtain the desired physical and mental traits of the original Olde English Bulldogge.  The result has been a good looking Bulldogge of great athletic ability that is much healthier and physically fit without most or all of the problems that plague today's modern English Bulldogs.  The goal of all Olde English Bulldogge breeders should be to produce genetically healthier Bulldogges that are free breathers, free breeders, and free whelpers. We are proud to say that at the time of the arrival of our first litter there were only a couple other breeders listed on the IOEBA "Roster of Registered Kennels" in Oklahoma.

The breed has taken off like a rocket in Oklahoma since, and there are currently now 22!!! Four of those kennels, plus others not yet on the roster, bought their first OEBs from us! We consider ourselves pioneers of the tremendous growth of Oldes in Oklahoma! and worked very hard to have earned that bragging right! A house sitter, whose name has not been released, was at the home at the time, KOCO reported. The house sitter told KFOR that the dog, a 6-month-old mixed-breed named Luke, showed up at the door with the body of a three to five-pound infant in his mouth. The body of the infant was wrapped in plastic. "He was carrying it just like a momma pup," she told the station, "and laid it at my feet." The house sitter stressed that the body had no markings or signs of trauma, and that Luke would never have hurt anyone. She believes the dog was trying to help the infant. “I believe [Luke] found it, picked it up and brought it. There was no trauma you could tell he inflicted," she said. Authorities have determined that the newborn was a girl.

"We don’t know where the baby came from," Police Captain Dexter Nelson told KFOR. "If it was born in the area outside or if someone brought the baby out there to dispose of it.” Medical experts are currently trying to determine if the baby was born alive or stillborn. According to KOCO, Luke typically roamed over a large area, which officials are currently canvassing for clues about the infant. All 50 states have some form of "safe haven" legislation that allows parents -- or someone with a parent's permission -- to anonymously leave a newborn at designated safe locations without fear of prosecution for neglect or abandonment. The specifics of save haven legislation varies by state. State-by-state laws can be found at ChildWelfare.gov.
