On August 7, 2015 we had a party for my daughter's 17th birthday and couldn't leave the Hope & Burnie's puppies at home, so I loaded them up brought them along! They had such a wonderful day with all of these teenagers loving all over them all day and night! They ended up having swimming lessons too! under AKC Judge Frank Polimeni. Our two newest additions in our Aussie family are   "Blessedhope Things R Lookin' Up" (Hope) Our strong willed red darling has been doing amazing at both ASCA and AKC shows! We have been showing her since she was 4 months old and she won BOB or BOS puppy several times, she already has her championship in ASCA and is well on her way to her AKC Championship with 8 points all with limited showing. We are excited about her, and know she will have an amazing show career. By an unforeseen miracle, we got to keep "Blessedhope Music To My Ears" (Harmony).We have been showing her at the ASCA shows since she was just 9 weeks old!  She has won BOB puppy or BOS puppy several times and now has twomajors under her belt as well as being 1st in open blue at the 2013 Australian Shepherd Nationals Pre- shows and 4th overall at the Nationals! We have been showing some of our dogs in conformation since Jan. 2009 and have learned so much about showing dogs! We have shown horses for many many years but showing dogs was a new venture!

We also love agility and in the past took our dogs to agility 3 nights a week. (talk about great exercise and great bonding time!) Anyway, we highly recommend agility for a great time and it is a fun way to meet good animal loving people. We plan on starting back this summer! All our dogs have their hips and eyes cleared and are DNA'd negative/ negative for hereditary cateracts before we breed them to do our part to better the breed. We don't practice too much "line breeding " or "in breeding" and make it a priority to stick with sound,healthy bloodlines in each of our dogs. We don't want to have more dogs than we can give adequate attention to, so we limit the total number. (It is so hard at times to resist keeping a puppy or two in each litter!) When we have puppies, we do all that we can to have healthy, well adjusted puppies that are raised with children and other dogs as well as being exposed to the horses, chickens, and cats that are in the barn. Our puppies are given the best care possible, we handle them more than imaginable and they always have plenty of room to run and play.
