Outside there is a large sun deck with private hot tub. Dog friendly - up to 2 small/medium sized dogs accepted There is a spacious open plan lounge with feature electric fire. Single patio door opens out onto the deck. Furniture includes two 2 seater fabric sofas. TV unit with DVD player & VCR. (A selection of DVDs can be hired from the shop at reception). Separate dining area with pine table and 4 chairs. The fitted kitchen is well appointed and equipped. Equipment includes, gas hob with electric oven. Built in fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, cutlery and crockery, plenty of generous storage space. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobes and bedside tables. Ensuite shower room with toilet and basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside table. The family bathroom has a full sized bath with sink, vanity unit and toilet. A single patio door leads from the main living area onto a west facing balcony running to the side of the lodge.

Patio furniture and chairs are provided for outdoor dining and relaxation. Parking for two cars adjacent to the lodge. Short family break in the Lakes My husband and I booked the Selamat Lodge to stay in during our short break away with our 6 year old son. We were very pleased with the accommodation, clean, tidy and in a beautiful location and we certainly couldn't fault the added bonus of the hot tub! Our little boy loved the teddies on the beds too and the wine (although we aren't a fan of red) was a lovely touch from the owners. The park itself is lovely and only a short distance to Brockhole and not too far from Ambleside and Windemere. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anyone wanting a nice break away in the Lakes. Good Lodge, lovely hot tub We really enjoyed our break in the Lakes. The cottage is old style but lovely and homely. Bedrooms are of sufficient size for such a lodge, don't expect much floor space but there is enough for a short break.

Living area is more than sufficient with a good TV system. Kitchen area provided all the tools we needed for cooking. Hot tub is great, you are asked to exit by 10pm of an evening though due to noise within the holiday park. The instructions took a wee bit of working out to ensure it was kept warm so more info on that in the pack would be useful. We had a couple of electricity trip switches whilst we were at the cottage, the external trip switch was located easily enough but the instructions for the indoor one weren't great. A traditional lodge with a large terrace and a hot tub – perfect for unwinding after a day out at Fell Foot. We look forward to you returning for another family holiday in the near future (complete with your loyalty discount). We stayed here with our two children ages 6 and 9 and had a wonderful time. The lodge itself was immaculate, we loved it. Everything we needed was on hand: toilet rolls, dish towels, bin bags, even tea bags and coffee. It was in a lovely spot, just a short walk from reception.

The hot tub was the bonus of the lodge, we loved relaxing in it after a day of adventure. The park itself was great for the boys, who made a couple of friends and spent their evenings playing football on the tennis courts. We also took advantage of the free leisure facilities just down the road on our one rainy day which were excellent, it's more like a private spa and pool.All in all we would give thus holiday 10 out of 10! I have just booked for my parents to stay for their birthday, I cannot recommend it enough. Wonderful lodge and surroundings.
