They are great with children of all ages and Shih Tzu were bred for companionship and the Imperials with their small size make excellent lap dogs that can easily be taken with you. Our Imperial puppies get handled daily and get lots of hugs and kisses. They are combed and brushed regularly, along with having their nails trimmed and baths, which make it much easier for both you and them. Chinese Imperial Dogs & Shih Tzus are great for people with allergies. They have hair rather then fur like other dog breeds, so the dander is not a problem. Plus the big bonus: they don’t shed, so you will not have that problem. We have puppies available several times during the year, but because we are a small breeder you can check out our upcoming litters page and we can put you on a waiting list for a litter that is coming up.
