I've hired Valentin before and was confident he would do an excellent job on a marble vanity. It needed refinishing, but the sink on top needed to be removed in order for the refinishing to take place. Valentin was understanding about the scheduling required and made time to remove the sink and return to re-attach the sink after the refinishing had taken place. He was quick and careful not to damage any of the parts. It's clear he takes pride in his work. Toilet installation and other updates I rely on the reviews of HomeStars customers when researching trades that I need. Based on what I read, I chose Strong Plumbing, and am I glad I did. Valentine was a true professional. He showed up on time. He did and excellent job on installing our new toilet. He worked cleanly and checked out the drainage before installing. During the installation I had mentioned that our balance valve in the bathtub was not working properly. He went ahead and replaced the cartridge and while doing so discovered and repaired another issue I had with the water supply.

He was very happy to accommodate his customer and went over and above what the original job requirement was. I would highly recommend Strong Plumbing be your first call if you need any work done. This last time, I had a problem with basement drainage and a lot of sewer flies filling up the house. I was sure I had a main line problem that req'd thousands and thousands of dollars worth of work. Valentin quickly figured out that the problem was with the old downspout drain and the work required was not nearly so extensive. They show up exactly when they say, they're very courteous, do the work to the estimate and no more and are careful not to create unnecessary mess in the house. Thirdly, he not only addresses the issues, but will give advice on how to maintain good plumbing to extend the life of whatever you have purchased which in our case was new toilets. We only asked for help with 2 new toilets, but he checked all 5 toilets in our home to make sure that they were installed properly and the water level was correct for all of them while at the same time sharing ways to help make sure that we can avoid issues in the future. This is where Valentin demonstrated how he went above and beyond what he had asked for originally. If you have any issues with anything related to plumbing, then give Valentin a call. You won't regret the call! About 1 month agoWork was done in 2 days (each 1/2 day). It would have been completed in one day as a city inspector was not available until the next day. They took the time to explain each step. Very hardworking friendly crew. I contacted a couple of other plumbing companies, but Valentin was the only one who mentioned a rebate was available from the City of Toronto and knew all the details needed for approval.

Leaky Taps in Laundry Room The taps in the laundry room of my condo were leaking and had damaged our engineered hardwood in the bedroom although it took some time for us to discover this problem. I called Valentin and he tried to accommodate me as I was not available the entire day. He came early Friday morning and found the problem and replaced the taps.
