From time to time, people tell me, "lighten up it's just a dog," or "that's a lot of money for just a dog."Indoor Palm Tree Bugs Some of my proudest moments have come from "just a dog." Chow Chow Puppies For Sale CreamMany hours have passed and my only company was "just a dog," but I did not once feel lonely.House And Lot For Sale Valencia Dumaguete City Philippines Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a dog," and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a dog" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day. If you too think it's "just a dog," then you will probably understand phrases like "just a friend," "just a sunrise," or "just a promise." "Just a dog" brings into my life the very importance of friendship, trust and pure joy.
"Just a dog" brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person. Because of "just a dog" I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. So for me and others like me, it's not "just a dog," but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the special memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. "Just a dog" brings out what's great in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that someday they can understand that it's not "just a dog," but the thing that gives me self worth, and keeps me from being "just a woman." So the next time you hear the phrase "just a dog," just smile because they "just don't understand."VOLUNTEERS & FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!!!! is a non-profit,501(c)3 rescue group. We have been rescuing and finding homes for unwanted pets since July 2001. We primarily rescue animals that are on death row at local Animal Control agencies to save the lives of the animals.
Unfortunately, traditional local shelters are forced to use euthanasia regardless of age or health, as a means to control "overpopulation" of "unwanted" animals. The purpose of our organization is to save discarded companion pets' lives and find new homes for them. We do NOT ship or adopt our pets to homes outside of the state of Florida. Since we spay and neuter all our pets prior to adoption this guarantees that they cannot contribute offspring to add to the overpopulation in our community. We do not have a "public shelter". We have a network of foster homes that help take care of our homeless pets until we can find permanent homes for them. We are in great need of volunteers to help with daytime animal care and weekend adoptions. We need loving foster homes to provide temporary housing for our pets. Please come and help at our weekend adoptions. There is so much to be done. You can help us help the animals. To provide safe, temporary housing and medical care, as needed, to rescued pets.
To provide care until permanent placement with new families can be found. To promote the no-kill philosophy for future generations by guaranteeing each pet's sterility. To accept donations and contributions to support the organization's stated goals. A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR VETERINARIANS!!!
