If your rabbit like chew on twigs then a great way of making them more interesting is to push then through a toilet roll. This will help keep them together in one place, off the floor and stop them being pushed to the corners of the room, where interest in them can be quickly lost. Remember don’t just use any old twigs either buy some willow sticks from a pet store or find some twigs that are OK for your rabbit to chew on. Pen or other pointed implement Take 1 toilet roll and push a pencil or other pointed implement through one side and out the other. Take a stick and push it through one side and out the other. Repeat till you have about 5 to 10 sticks. Its nice to give your rabbit some treats the only problem is they often don’t last very long. A way to keep your rabbit amused for longer is to hide them in a toy like a treat tumbler. It may take a while for your rabbit to get the hang of this at first but when their natural foraging instincts take over. Once they work out the connection between pushing the roll around and treats coming out they will always go back to it.
