Travel Size Toiletries For Hospital Bag

About to hit 35 weeks? It’s time to start packing! We asked a few of our 4moms’ moms for their tried-and-true “must-haves” for your hospital bag. Here is what they suggested: You, your partner and your newborn all want to be as comfortable as possible. Tuck three pillows (two for sleeping and one for nursing) in your bag to ensure a good night sleep – well, as good as you can outside of your own bed. 4moms favorite: Honest’s nursing pillow is stable, supportive and sleek. As much as you need to recharge after labor, your phone will too. If your phone is your go-to for photos, videos, social media posts, calls and texts, don’t forget to pack your charger! You won’t want to miss a moment. Expect a lot of visitors while you’re at the hospital. So, make sure that you pack a light, comfortable robe that you can easily slip on when your family and friends arrive. 4moms favorite: Freshly Picked’s Bringing Home Baby Bundle comes with a cozy robe and matching accessories for baby – perfect for photos!
Skip the hospital-provided gear and bring your own, including a few comfy “granny panties” (that you won’t mind parting with) and a few nursing bras (even if you’re not planning on nursing, they will help catch any leaks). Hospitals are very dry and you’ll want to keep your lips extra soft for all of those sweet baby kisses. 4moms favorite: Soothing + softening = Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip TherapySamoyed Puppies For Sale In Manchester Socks and slippers with traction will keep you safe and sanitary when you’re roaming the hospital halls pre and post labor. Pack travel sizes of your favorite shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste and moisturizers because that first shower out of the delivery room will feel so good! A few extras to consider throwing in your bag are dry shampoo, glasses, hair ties and your own maxi pads (the hospital ones can be a little bulky). Prepackaged snacks, like granola bars or trail mix, are great to have on hand when hunger sets in and your next meal isn’t scheduled to arrive for hours. Pack a bag of lollipops, too! They can satisfy that sweet tooth, while also helping with dry mouth. Sour ones tend to be less nauseating than sweet ones. Homecoming clothes should be comfy and cozy. You know what size you came in, but you don’t quite know what size you’ll leave in, so think stretchy: yoga pants, maternity dresses, etc. Same goes for baby: when it comes to newborns, one size does not fit all so grab a couple onesies just in case! 4moms favorite: Petunia Pickle Bottom’s footie/hat/blanket bundle for your little peanut!
