Cleaning your clogged shower head is easy, but the process may take an overnight soaking. Understand why the clogging has happened. Unscrew the swivel ball nut that holds the shower head to the mounting collar. Before you disassemble the shower head, make a note of how it went together. Completely immerse the disassembled parts in white vinegar or a lime cleaning solution. If, after soaking, you discover that some areas still need some attention, scrub stubborn deposits with a small wire brush or the straightened end of a paper clip.

Use the diagram to reassemble the shower head. Remove the shower head from the shower hose. Fill a large pan with half-in-half water and vinegar mixture. Bring the mixture to the boil and immerse the shower head. Rinse the shower head with tepid water and re-assemble. Clean on a regular basis. I even ordered a couple for back-up, just in case they stop making them. I would not have paid twice that, much less thrice that, which is being asked for now. Thread tape roll will cost you 3.50-4.50 in itself,then just lay there not being used anymore.3.89 at my local wm.So no leaking from this one.Star just for that.it does have removable restriction insert,but worked fine in it for me.The regular spray is fine,the in between is just dumb,basically like making both features useless.The massage is hard and strong and is so so.For people with real back pain,spend more on something better if you can.i moved into a apt that had no shower head at all..So i'm keeping this,tired of running around.When i move i won't bother taking it.I love pulsating massage ones,really works out some kinks of a hard day.
