What age is this VBS appropriate for? The traditional VBS version works best for elementary-aged kids or grades 1-5. Likewise, the kids’ activities in the Family Version will appeal most to elementary-aged kids. If using the family version, you’re not limited to only families with elementary-aged children. Older kids will still enjoy the activities too or they can serve as volunteers or join the adults for their small group time. For families with pre-school aged kids you may decide to provide additional nursery accommodations during game/craft time and can use some of the free coloring pages from this site for added age-appropriate resources. Is this VBS appropriate for pre-schoolers? No, the content of this VBS is for elementary kids (Grades 1-5). However, if you have families attending with pre-schoolers, this site includes lots of free coloring pages that you can make available in the childcare area so that they are still engaging with the same content as the rest of the family.
