Where To Buy Purina Deli Cat

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sponsored by Purina for IZEA. When it comes to weekly shopping, I like to save as much time as possible. I also like to keep my shopping runs as simple and stress free as I can. That’s why I almost always avoid those big box stores and instead opt for stores like Dollar General. At Dollar General I know I can always park close to the store, and not have to trek across a huge parking lot. I also know I don’t have to fight the crowds or wait in a long line to checkout because our local Dollar General is always is less crowded and has great customer service. When I visit Dollar General, I make sure to get all my cleaning supplies as well as pet supplies. I love that I can purchase name brand quality products like Purina dog chow for our Coco. Quality pet food is what keeps Coco healthy and strong and his coat shiny and gorgeous. Coco loves Purina Dog Chow Complete. It has those little doggie kibble pieces he craves.

Even though he’s a big dog, I swear he thinks he’s a lap dog sometimes. When it comes to any type of food, treats or toys that are made for smaller dogs, he would much rather have that than big dog toys like little tires or huge dog bones. At Dollar General, they also have may other pet food products from Purina including several types of wet and dry dog and cat food, plus pet treats and cat litter. There’s also a large selection of toys for your big or little fur baby. You can purchase all these great Purina products: Don’t forget to also look for Dollar General Alpo Products at Dollar General. Our big guy goes through a lot of food, so we bought the 20lb bag of food. I’m embarrassed to say how much he eats during the week. Let’s just say he’s been holding steady at about 100lbs for the past few years, plus the few pregnancy sympathy pounds he’s put on in the past few months, and he’s very active. So I filled my Dollar General bag with this huge bag of food.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently took a much-needed step toward improving the safety of pet food products. FDA regulations now require that manufacturers of pet food sold in the U.S. use basic sanitation measures to prevent product contamination.

Manufacturers must also maintain written plans for preventing food-borne illnesses such as salmonellosis. The rules are a result of the Food Safety Modernization Act, which also granted the FDA authority to mandate pet food recalls (in the past, recalls were at the company’s discretion). The regulations were finalized in September 2015, and businesses must meet the compliance deadlines set in the new rules. For the latest pet food and pet treat recalls, check out the FDA’s Twitter alerts below, or see a chart of recent recalls. NOTE: Food older than two years has likely expired and should not be consumed. (Most pet food has an expiration date; look for it on the package or can. As a general rule, unopened dry food usually stays good for a year; unopened canned food for two years.)
