Midnite is a beautiful 4 year old spayed female who weighs 50 pounds. She is good with dogs, unknown with cats, and approved for ages 10 and up. She is a little on the shy side, but once she warms up to you she is open to affection. Midnite crates well and walks well on the leash, too. Midnite has adorable white toes on her back feet and the most velvety ears! She is a true beauty. Midnight is current on vaccines but came to us heartworm positive. Lab Rescue has taken care of her treatment and she is ready for her new life. She must go to a detached single family home in the suburbs or a rural area. Update from Midnite's foster family - Moments by Midnite: I'm looking for a loving and patient family who is looking for an amazing 4 year old 50 pound girl with soft ears who loves butt scritches, has the cutest white markings on her back paws and has a slight under bite. But my new forever family will not have to handle the rest period because I've already been treated! I'm approved for children 10 and up (and I do love Brenden who is 10), unknown with cats (I'm told that when I first came in to the Lab Rescue vet I didn't pay attention to the kitties there), VERY food motivated, crate trained, house trained, love to run around in the fenced in back yard with my foster siblings, love barking at squirrels, love butt scritches, ear rubs and starting to enjoy belly rubs. I don't jump on the furniture and really enjoy my space in my crate. I can not tell a lie. I am a shoe and stuffed animal thief. I quietly go into my foster parent's room and Foster Dad just happens to leave out his slippers, Crocs or tennis shoes. I first look around to survey the lay of the land. Then, I quietly and carefully pick up a shoe and quickly walk, not run, back to my crate where I hoard it. I do the same in Brenden's room but he has some soft stuffed animals (I especially like the blue cow or the frog beanie baby).

I bet a lot of you are thinking that I tear them up. I just hoard them. I do have my "baby" which is a blue squeaky dog that I have had for over 3 weeks now. That still looks good too. Foster Mom fusses at Reese when she gets it (I don't mind sharing) because she will "kill" the squeakers. When my "baby" is handed back to me, I gently put it back in my crate. Foster Mom says I'm adorable and that I'm a different dog from the one they picked up. Foster Mom says that it's amazing that they had to put me in the crate, shut the door after putting my food dish in, walk out of the den and I would wait at least 5 minutes before I would eat alone. Now, I'm excited to see them prep the food and I run to my crate (door open) and start eating right away. I don't care who is there!
