I have 2 houses I love in mind, but for different reasons. I'm not asking for anyone to make a decision for me, I just want more data! So house #1 was in Shiloh Grove. From what I can tell based on my walks (I walked around both neighborhoods to get a feel for them) it's a nice quiet community. Lowes Bathtub Surround KitsThe floorplan for the house I looked at was great, and it had some nice polishes (hardwood floor, etc)Reebok Running Shoes 90s House #2 was in Carpenter Village. Toy Puppies For Sale In DenverFrom what I can tell based on my walks, this development has a crazy amount of things to do in it.
It was still quiet, not quite as quiet as Shiloh though. The house floorplan was odd. I have a 5 year old, and my thoughts was a 3 bedroom house and the 3rd bedroom could be kind of a playroom/rec room/media room. This was a 2 bedroom + bonus, but the bonus room (3rd floor) came off of one of the bedrooms. Was an older home, not as many updates (except the appliances, which were new/high end.) Also, about $15k more expensive than the Shiloh house. Anyway, what it looks like it's coming down to is House vs Neighborhood. Obviously, other than the floorplan, houses can be changed. So people who live in Carpenter, I have a few questions: How much do you value your amenities? Do you find yourself thinking "Man I'm glad I live here!" or did you find that you don't seem to care as much about them as you thought you would? I notice there is a pool, but the community is HUGE. Is the pool super crowded? If the pool is constantly wall-to-wall people, it might not be so great to go to. Shiloh, how annoying is the traffic on Church St?
Because I know at times it can get pretty bad. Are there any regrets you have to moving to the neighborhood? Is that substation right outside the neighborhood any concern for you? BTW I live in Morrisville, in an apartment, currently. Before that I lived in a townhouse there when I was married. So I know about the plane noise. I don't hear it anymore. 290 posts, read 574,837 times 357 posts, read 535,154 times 1 posts, read 1,283 times 215 posts, read 271,051 times Originally Posted by Carliekctaylor I know two families that live in Carpenter Village. On the Non Legacy side tere are apartments, townhomes (200k-300k range I guesS) and single family homes (300k and up to a mil). The Legacy side's prices are a bit slimmer for townhouses and singles. Thanks to Brian Wessler & Charleston Management for all the assistance throughout the years too.” – Tim Long, Board member, Moss Creek “Charleston Management has matched us with the right manager, who makes it easier and less stressful to manage our neighborhood. We trust their advice and appreciate their input at every turn. They have always been responsive to our needs and we are glad we have stuck with them for over 10 years.” – Michele Lesher, President, Magnolia Place “Our neighborhood has worked with Charleston Management for over 10 years and our community manager is excellent. They are very responsive to the owners and work closely with the board, providing guidance and recommendations, and then quickly execute Board wishes. They are  especially good at balancing the needs of both residents and the board.  The true testament is the fact that over the years we have never even considered looking at another management company!” – Michael A. Kelly, President, The Enclave HOA
“I have worked with Charleston Management for many years. Their Developer division is a huge benefit for a company that develops and builds neighborhoods.  Over the years they have prepared new community feasibility studies, interpreted legal documents and prepared multi-year budgets.  They work pro-bono until the first home closes, run all the meetings and are well versed in taking communities smoothly though transition to an owner Board. I highly recommend Charleston.” – Morgan Bryan, Ashton Woods Homes. “Ours is a smaller community of only 30 homes that has been with Charleston since 2001 and we have always received excellent service and responsiveness. I have been on the Board of Directors working with them for eight years and look forward to continuing our relationship with them.  Maintaining the appearance of our community is a priority for the board and Katie is always willing to go to the extra mile to assist us in achieving that objective.”   – Larry, Cameron View
“Our HOA has worked with Katie Kuaffmann for the past several years and the team at Charleston Management since 20013 and have been extremely impressed with their professionalism and ability to respond to our homeowner’s needs.  Their guidance and expertise provided to the HOA Board has been invaluable.” – Kevin Sommers, President, Simms Branch/Anson Grove HOA “I welcome this opportunity to comment on Charleston Management who has been our management company since our community’s inception, 2005.  I believe, that, in its self, proves our satisfaction.  The website is easily accessed by our residents and is a valuable tool for the Board.  I have only positive comments for our representative, Laura Erskine, who has been our advocate over 3 years. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, answers requests in a timely manner and provides advice when needed.” – Bob Rooney, President, Heritage Crest “With a community of over 1200 homes, it was important to find a management firm that was not only professional and responsive, but also a good value.
Charleston has delivered on all counts.  I appreciate the superior service we receive from all staff, whether it’s our manager, the client services team on architectural reviews, or the owner.  It has also been great seeing the regular improvements in processes and software that enhance interactions for our residents and the Board.”  -Herb Hernandez, President, Harrington Grove “You all do a great job keeping our community looking good!  Thank you very much!!  Property values are holding strong in Collington Farms.” – Jack C., Homeowner, Collington Farms “Charleston Management has been both a joy to work with & a valuable asset to us.  We always receive quick, professional answers to questions & though we are small, we are always treated as if we are one of their most important clients.  We especially enjoy the patience & understanding they exhibit in dealing with our Board members who had no prior HOA experience. Personally, I have dealt with several management firms & I have enjoyed Charleston Management the most.” – Tom Pitman, Chessington
