Top rated schools in Millcreek Township School DistrictDescription: This is a two unit built by the builder for his own use. It has a great rear yard and it would make a great owner occupied and dual family member home at $140,000 per side. Rent is now $850 per month per side and it is move in ready with one unit featuring new carpet. Sale would be subject to current leases. How safe do I think the school is? I think it is very far up there with safety but also when I went there, there was many very crazy people as there is now! But people would be writing threats on bathroom walls, once somebody tried to blow the school up! Just a lot of very crazy things that I guess you could say you would see in the movies. McDowell definitely tries to do everything that they can so I give them props on that.. But they cannot see everything coming which is why I rated it okay because anything can still happen! What I really like about McDowell's organizations is you have an opportunity to go to a vo-tech school.
You get to take the bus there either every morning or after noon and spend half of your day there! They have many different classes you can take there for example I took computer information systems my first year there and my second I took networking both were great classes. Thinking back on my high school days I definitely would go back to McDowell! Going to school you think it is the worst and most people cannot wait to graduate and be done with it but my first year off I realized I missed it and not just seeing friends. I missed the classes, the environment and most of the teachers! I'd say McDowell is very unique because of its size looking around at other local high schools McDowell had double the graduating class size so it is nice to see all different sorts of people gives you a great chance to meet new people and with such a large size of students it gave a better opportunity for more classes and so on. The overall quality of teachers, teaching styles, knowledge, interest in students, communication skills, and consistency in grading truly depended upon the course you were taking.
