ugh it all Mossy maintained a loving spirit and quickly became a favorite of all the volunteers. Time after time, families came to meet new family members and overlooked Mossy. Even when it was obvious that she was the best match for their home. Perhaps they couldn't see past the snaggle tooth and grey muzzle to the huge heart she possessed. Today, Mossy's world changed forever. Last week, a wonderful lady named Audrey stopped by an adoption event where Mossy was once again the wallflower. Audrey felt a connection with her, but alas, left alone. Well, today, Audrey came back looking for Miss Mossy. She said she had been thinking about her all week, and knew that Mossy was meant to be a part of her family. Unfortunately, Mossy wasn't at that event. A volunteer quickly started working the phone and found Mossy at another event. Well, the rest is history. Audrey and Mossy have been reunited and are off to live their happily ever after together! Mossy will be the bride forevermore, never again a bridesmaid! She

This is an exemplary shelter which has not had to euthanize small dogs for space in almost 2 years. There is simply no more room in this emergency situation. We have committed to taking them into our rescue, and Texas Litter Control has generously stepped up to the plate and is offering extremely reduced rates in order to help us get these dog...s all altered and readied for adoption.
