Just punched my L600 today, the sales men had me convinced to buy a solar storm 44, he said it was equivalent light for print but it isn’t 3x3xb(bloom)4×4 (veg) 30lbs 5 watt diodes but seeing it in the tnt he had in the show it didn’t impress me really but he said I as better. So I got it, we’ll sitting at rotten Ronnie with my kids I cold not get any peace about this 440 solar storm so I went back put the box on the floor walked over to the L600 and said I need to take this one at the same price, he said you don’t want the best deal best, product the other is less quality. Well I walked out with the L600 hooked it up when got home and it way brighter then 440,L600 is louder but it has 10 fans the 440 has 2 they were quiet but it still looked weak and out dated, I’m running towards the future of LED growing not backwards, can’t wait to move a couple of my vegging plants to compare to my 800 watt hps set up if it better I’ll get the kl750 and fill my 4×4 tent, 3×3 veg tent and hopefully Turing a page to totally change my growing setup the xl kl1000 and be LED kind.

We used the exact grow medium fertilizer feed schedule and sister clones only difference was lights. I will now start to save money and make an investment in the K5 series. I am a novice grower… In spring of 2014 I returned from Amsterdam with some great seeds; I planted them in pots outdoors and nursed them along, only to have them stolen before harvest. Over the winter I moved to a new house and it has a great setup downstairs for a grow room….I have a 150sf utility room downstairs whose sole occupant was the oil burner, which keeps that room in the mid-70’s throughout the winter.

I installed 1 K5 XL-1000 and 2 K5 XL-750 lights. I grew 6 plants over the winter and the results were out of this world…. much better product than anything I have ever bought. Presently I have 8 plants in this space in week two of flowering. Those lights are fantastic… to keep the room cool all I need is a 12000 BTU window air conditioner, which also vents the odor outside into the woods. The lights generate no noticeable heat at all. I can use more blues during the veg stage and then more reds during the flowering stage… if it weren’t for lights like these I probably couldn’t have a grow room down there.
